Introducing Jenna Hope
Here is our beautiful baby Jenna. We love her som much! She has brought such a beautiful, warm, loving spirit into our home. Andrew's sister Rachel took some pictures for us. They turned out great, now we just need to go through them all and choose some for her birth announcement. Here are a couple of our favorites. :)
I love the one where she is holding Andrew's finger. Andrew is such a good daddy, he and Jenna are very cute with each other. :)

We Had A Baby!
We had our baby girl! She is so amazing and loving and sweet! She is everything we could have possibly hoped for and more. She was such a trooper through our long delivery process. And she has been so patient with Andrew and I as we have been learning how to feed, change, bathe and soothe her. She has such a strong, beautiful, loving spirit and makes our home feel so warm and wonderful. We love her so much. I never could have imagined feeling such an immensity of love and all at once as I first laid my eyes on her. Parenthood is amazing. Also, we are making our blog private. So if you would like access to it please leave your email address and your blog if you have one as a comment.
Thanks!

Autumn, Birthday and Camera Happy Andrew
We LOVE the season of autumn. The beautiful, vibrantly colored leaves, the cool crispness in the air, the smell of hot apple cider, wearing warm, snuggly sweaters. Oh, it is so wonderful! Even when I got pretty homesick for a while in Minnesota, as soon as Autumn came, I perked right up and couldn't stop smiling. We took a drive through the canyon the other day and enjoyed the red, orange and yellow leaves on the trees in the mountains. Our camera is kind of lame and I do not have a photoshop program so unfortunatly we were not able to catch the actual vibrancy of the colors but here are pictures of some of what we enjoyed.
I also had a Birthday! Yay! It was on a Sunday and it was very nice and relaxing. My mom made me a crazy large, rich cake. It had chocolate, cream cheese and reeses cups.
I only have 4 weeks left until the due date. I am so anxious and excited to nest. I hope I can get at least somewhat organized before the baby comes! We are planning on moving into our own place in two weeks! :)
Andrew took another prego picture of me today. He also took some pictures of me while I was crocheting. He called it 'capturing a classic Kim photo' :). He's a cutie. I love to crochet! I have made a couple of little beanies for the baby to keep her warm. I have also been crocheting flowers to put on the beanies. The picture of the beanie with the flower still needs a button in the middle but yeah. I think once I attach the button the little hat will be so cute! I am excited!
This little baby girl is already so much fun. She wiggles around so much! It is so fun to feel and watch! We are excited for her to come. I just really, really, really hope to be able to nest a little bit before hand so i can get things a little more prepared and organized for her. :)
Happy Fall!

Please share. Some of the names we have been thinking of are Jenna, Lilly, Lindy, Lynlie, Kayla, Lila, Millie, Emmy, Ava, Marissa, Autumn, Taylie, and I really like Skye but Andrew is not so keen on that one sadly. Let us know what you like and any other ideas please. Thanks!

8 Months, Rug, and Cabin
Here I am at 8 months pregnant, I forgot to take a 7 month picture, sorry about that. The picture of a rug is the rug we bought for our family room to go in front of our fireplace. I'm excited! The chair is just a cool chair that I like and think would look cool in the room with the rug and fireplace. It was super expensive so we didn't buy it. Kind of random but I wanted to post something since I haven't posted anything in a while. For Labor Day Weekend we revisited our Honeymoon cabin, it was so much fun! It is so beautiful up there near Island Park and Yellowstone. I will post those pictures soon too. I don't think we took any of us though, Just of the cabin and its surroundings. On our honeymoon we saw a mother moose and her baby in the stream right outside our window! We didnt get that lucky this time, but we did have lots of fun fond memories. :)

Update on life in Utah
Well, in the past two months we have moved from Minnesota to Utah, spent 4 weeks away from each other :( both got jobs in Utah :)spent tons of time with family and friends including BBQ's, birthday parties, outdoor hikes, Bee's baseball game, Spanish Fork rodeo, kareoke, lots of games, lots of dinners, etc. It has been a blast! We LOVE being back in Utah, it just feels so good and right. I am trying to track down all of thepictures we have been taking. I will post them as soon as I find out which camera/file, etc. They are on. I forgot to take a 5 month picture, but we did take a 6 month picture and I will post that soon too. I am 6 1/2 months pregnant! Crazy! It's a lot of fun. However, I have noticed that I overwork myself way too much and my body has been telling me, so I am going to force myself to take it easy today and hopefully I can recooperate. :) And yeah, that's what is going on with us. Life is very busy and stressful, but it is SOOOO much fun too! We are loving our lives right now! :)

Cousin Babies
Sudden Expansion
So, last week, when I told people I was 4 1/2 months pregnant, everyone was totally surprised because I was still pretty small. This week however, I grew a lot! Kind of confused how that happened. But my mom, aunt, sister, cousin, etc. all noticed it. It's really bizarre and funny. Also, I feel the baby now and it is SOOOO cool! I love being pregnant!
P.S. Andrew comes home on Saturday! Yayyyyyy!!!!! I can't wait!

San Diego!
We went to San Diego last week for Andrew's little sister's wedding. We had so much fun! The weather was beautiful! The large hills, beautiful trees, bushes, and flowers, all of the fresh produce at Andrew's parent's house; Everything was so wonderful! And the wedding was beautiful and wonderful as well. We had such a wonderful vacation. We really enjoyed helping with the wedding events and spending so much time with family. We can't wait for the reunion in June! :) We do not have any pictures of the beach bonfire, or the wedding, but we have a few pictures of some of the family. I'll post some of the wedding pictures as soon as I can get a hold of some. :)

Question
Why I am I so large? I am only 13 weeks yet look like some of my friends who are about 20 weeks. I don't pig out or anything. I just eat when I am hungry and I eat pretty healthy. I also get exercise. Does anyone know why I am so large? Could the only possible reason for my largeness be if I have twins in there or something? I am so confused. Somebody please give me words of comfort. Did any of you have such protruding tummies so early? I don't mind, I think it's fun being able to see proof that I am preggers, I am just looking for an explanation as to why I am so big already. Sorry for my ramblings. Thanks for listening, or reading I mean. :)

Arghh!
Last year, we received an infestation of these asian beetle things that look like lady bugs. Andrew tried to shoo them out with a broom. But many of them stayed, and over time, they have died, fallen off the ceiling and onto the floor. I find several of them all the time. It's disgusting and very frustrating. Sometimes I even find a couple in my bed. Gross! Oh, there are also a bunch herded together in the window sill. It freaks me out and bothers me tremendously. I sweep them up often. Saturday, I got so disgusted and frustrated that I said a bad word. I am ashamed. The end.
Additional Insight from Andrew:
There were probably thousands of these lady bugs, or asian beetles, or whatever they are. The picture Kim posted is after I knocked down a ton of these bugs, but if you look close, you can still see that there are piles of bugs left surrounding the light. I couldn't knock the swarms down fast enough.

Color
K, so I've decided that this bluish greenish but mostly greenish color is my favorite colr but I have no idea what it is called. I've seen it around a little bit but I have no idea what color it is and I sound silly when I try to explain it to people. Do any of you know what its called?
I think this color combination on my blog would look really cool in a kitchen!
That's right, I daydream about kitchens.

Silly
So, I am in between jobs and sometimes I get kind of bored. So yesterday, I decided to dress up in red, white and blue for President's Day just to add a little spice to my life. Sad, I know. Well, I already knew I looked ridiculus but I stayed in the outfit anyways. When Andrew came home from lunch, we were talking and he looked at me and paused. Then he said "Are you wearing that outfit because it's President's Day?" We both bust up laughing and he took pictures as we made fun of myself. I'm a nerd.
Valentine's Day
Valentine's day was great. When I woke up in the morning, I came into the kitchen and Andrew had done the dishes for me that I was dreading, and had snuck to the grocery store and bought me beautiful flowers. I was so happy! We made a nice breakfast, then just went to the gym, and hung out a Barnes and Noble for a while. Then we came home and I made him a healthy pizza completely from scratch, the wheat crust, the sauce and everything. And I also made us some german chocolate brownies which turned out really well luckily. :) I'll put the brownie recipe on my recipe blog.

Dinner For Two
When Andrew and I were dating, we often went to the grocery store, picked out ingredients, then went back to our apartments and cooked together. It was so fun! We haven't done that in a while, but yesterday right after work, Andrew came and picked me up, we went to the grocery store picked out fun ingredients and made a yummy meal together, just like old times! It was a fun little date, I liked it. Here is a picture of our little invention. I don't remember everything we did so I can't really post the recipe, sorry. But it was very delicious! :)
P.S. It got down to -50 degrees with the windchill last night. Negative 50! Isn't that nuts!? It was pretty bitter.

I Did It!
I finally updated my recipe blog! While I was in Utah for Christmas, I cooked and baked a lot! And it felt so great! And I was so happy to receive such wonderful reviews from family and friends. Cooking/baking is one of my very favorite things to do! Sometimes, I feel discouraged cooking at home because I have a lack of counter space, no dishwasher, only two people to cook for, etc. But I got back into the groove while I was basking in the delight of my mom's glorious kitchen and I had a blast! So, to start, I have updated my recipe blog with about six yummy recipes I made during Christmas. And for my New Year's resolution I am going to cook and bake more, and update my recipe blog with something new and delicious at least once a week! Please try the recipes, tell me how you liked them, give me tips and new recipes, etc. Thank you!
